Student at Horace Greeley High School, interested in all things at the intersection of science, art, and service.
I’m a senior at Horace Greeley High School, curious about how the brain works and how to help people when something goes wrong. I began with a research project on Alzheimer’s disease, took a neuroscience summer program at Columbia, and now ride as a New York State certified EMT with my local volunteer ambulance corps. Outside of science, I started playing tennis during the pandemic, looking for a sport I could play without contact, and I fell in love with it. I play varsity tennis (NYS doubles champion as a sophomore) and have been grateful to spend the last four summers on the competitive US Open ball crew. In my free time I paint, illustrate, and crochet. I love anything that lets me use both my head and my hands.
